Athena serves as the Greek goddess of wisdom, craft, and warfare as well as the patron goddess in many cities across Greece. Her symbol is an owl and she embodies the cold, calculated tactics and strategies used in times of war. She is also known as Pallas as well and  is often portrayed as a companion to heroes and is the patron goddess of Heroic Endeavor. Unlike Ares, Athena only thought that people should go to war if it was a last resort and only if they were fighting for a noble or just cause.

She lends her hand in many stories throughout Greece, including the turning of Medusa into a gorgon, supporting the Greeks in the Trojan War, mentor of the hero Odysseus, the creation of spiders after Arachne challenged her to a weaving contest, and several more tales. 
 
For this fragrance we chose cotton and iris and Moroccan cashmere to represent Athena's ties to the craft of weaving. We chose moonflower nectar to serve as a connection to the nocturnal owls she is connected to. Lavender Embers was chosen to tie in with her connection to wisdom and warfare. This fragrance is a blend of soft, fresh florals, clean cotton, and fruit with touches of smoke that shine most when the candle is burning.
