On the southern side of Blue Bonnet Ridge, a patchwork quilt of rich brown soil and bright green vegetables covers the landscape. In the middle of it all is Krim Faery, carrying a heavy bag of seeds through the fields. He grows wheat, corn, and beans; lettuce, cucumber, and potatoes. Everything the faeries of the town might need for the season.
 
But his favorites are the tomato plants, growing tall in rich brown soil. With his watering can in hand, he visits them all. They perk up when he waters them and tells them hello with a gentle brush of his prosthetic hand. The fuzzy tomato leaves tickle his nose as he bends to pluck the ripest beefsteak tomatoes, perfect for a delicious salad or a tomato sandwich.
 
After a long day working on the farm, Krim washes up and retires to the shed to work on his latest woodworking project or, if the weather is too nice to miss, he sits on the porch and whittles. After a few lessons from the local carpenter, he's learned to service his prosthetic arm and leg, which he's worn since he was a wee fae. He also makes toys for the local children. He loves dropping by the school with a crate full of fresh produce and a dozen of his latest creations, painted wooden ducks. The kids' smiles make all the hard work worthwhile.

** Krim was almost called Beefsteak, but we like to think that his friends call him that from time to time as a gentle tease.
 
*** Krim is a variety of heirloom tomato that is a maroon or even purplish-black color. It is a hearty beefsteak with a robust, salty flavor that originates from the Crimean Peninsula of Ukraine. The plant is very hardy and can thrive in a variety of climates.

**** The label art was inspired by the Ukrainian flag, which features equal bands of bright blue and yellow, which inspired us to feature a clear sky and sunflowers.
 
***** Sunflowers are Ukraine’s national flower.
 
****** The inclusion of prosthetics were to promote inclusivity for physical impairments and are a nod towards perseverance against all odds.
